Which Payment Processors Does Churn.io Support?

A
Written by Andreas H

A payment processor integration is the connection between churn.io and the billing platform where your subscriptions live. It is what lets your cancel flow read a customer's subscription and then act on it automatically — applying a discount, a pause, a free month, or a plan change the moment a save is accepted, or running the cancellation when none is. This article explains which processors churn.io supports today and which are still on the way.

Supported today

Stripe is the payment processor churn.io supports right now. Once you connect your Stripe account, churn.io can read your live subscriptions and automatically apply the retention offers you've configured in your flows — discounts, pauses, free months, trials, and plan changes — as well as carry out cancellations when a customer chooses to leave.

You connect Stripe from the Integrations page. Choose Stripe, then Install from Stripe Marketplace to authorize churn.io securely through Stripe — there are no API keys to copy or paste. After you approve the connection, Stripe sends you back to churn.io and your account is linked automatically.

⚠️ Stripe is required to go live

A connected Stripe account is needed before you can take a flow Live or start an A/B test. Without it, offers and cancellations have nowhere to be applied, so churn.io blocks the action until Stripe is connected.

Coming soon

The following processors appear on your Integrations page marked as Coming soon. You can see them listed, but they can't be connected yet — support for them is in development:

  • Chargebee — apply retention offers to Chargebee subscriptions when a cancel is intercepted.

  • Recurly — sync accepted offers directly to Recurly subscriptions in real time.

  • Braintree — apply discounts and pauses to Braintree subscriptions when a cancel is saved.

  • Adyen — action retention offers on Adyen subscriptions when a cancel is saved.

  • Mollie — apply offers to Mollie subscriptions when a cancel is intercepted.

Don't see your processor?

If the billing platform you use isn't listed, the Integrations page includes an Integration missing? option so you can let our team know. We'll prioritize adding the processors our customers ask for most, so telling us which one you need genuinely helps shape what comes next.

💡 One account per processor

Each business can connect one account per payment processor. If you manage several businesses in churn.io, you connect a processor separately for each one.
