A business account is a single company workspace inside churn.io. Each one keeps its own cancellation flows, billing-platform integrations, branding, and team members completely separate from your other companies. You can belong to more than one business at the same time, and your permissions can be different in each one. This article explains how to view and manage your business accounts, create new ones, edit their details, and switch between them.
What a business account is
Everything you build in churn.io lives under a business account. When you switch from one business to another, the whole app follows along — you see that business's flows, its connected billing platform, its widget and cancel-page branding, and its own team list. Nothing is shared between businesses.
You can be part of several businesses at once. Your access in each is set by your role in that specific business:
Owner — full control, including editing the business and managing billing.
Admin — manages most of the workspace.
Member — works inside the business day to day.
Viewer — read-only access.
Developer — focused on the technical setup.
Because roles are per business, you might be the Owner of one company and only a Member or Viewer of another.
The Business Accounts area
To manage your companies, open Settings and go to Business accounts. This area gives you an overview of the businesses you own.
💡 Owner-only view
The Business accounts page only lists businesses where you are the Owner. If you don't own any business, this area won't appear in your settings.
For each business you own, the list shows:
Business account — the company logo (or its initials) and name.
Business URL — your company website, linked if one is set.
Date created — when the business was added.
Status — shown as Active.
Editing a business
From the Business accounts list, click the Edit (pencil) button next to a business to open the Business information window. There you can update:
Business logotype (optional) — click Click to Upload to add a logo, or Remove to clear it. Use a PNG or JPEG up to 10MB; 400×400px is recommended.
Business name (required) — the name shown across churn.io.
Business URL (required) — your company website address.
When you're done, click Confirm to save, or Cancel to discard your changes. Both the name and a valid URL are required before you can save.
⚠️ Only Owners can edit a business
Editing a business's name, website, or logo is limited to its Owner. Other team members can see and work within the business, but they can't change these business-level details.
Switching the active business
The business you're currently working in is your active business. Use the business switcher at the top of the left sidebar to change it:
Click the business card in the sidebar (it shows the current logo, name, and Switch Business).
Under Your businesses, pick the company you want to work in.
The app instantly reloads that business's flows, integrations, branding, and team.
Your choice is remembered, so the next time you sign in you'll return to the same business. A check mark indicates which business is currently active.
Creating a new business
To add another company, open the business switcher in the sidebar and click Add new business. This walks you through the short setup steps for the new business. Once it's created, you'll automatically become its Owner and it appears in your switcher and in the Business accounts list right away.
Each new business starts fresh — set up its own cancellation flows, connect its billing platform, customize its branding, and invite its own team, all kept separate from your other companies.
