You can invite colleagues to your Churn.io workspace so they can view analytics, manage flows, or help configure your cancel experience. This article covers how to invite team members, what each role can do, and how to remove access.

How to invite a team member

  • Go to Settings > Team

  • Click Invite member

  • Enter their email address

  • Select their role (see below for a description of each role)

  • Click Send invite

The invitee will receive an email with a link to join your workspace. If they do not already have a Churn.io account, they will be prompted to create one first.

Roles and permissions

Churn.io has five roles. Choose the one that matches what each person needs to do:

  • Owner: Full access to everything, including billing, organisation settings, team management, flow configuration, and integrations. The person who created the workspace is the original Owner. Multiple Owners are allowed.

  • Admin: Same access as an Owner. Cannot remove or change the role of an Owner. Best for senior team members who need full operational control.

  • Developer: Can create, edit, publish, and delete flows, manage integrations, and access embed code. Cannot access billing or team management.

  • Member: Read-only access to analytics, session data, and the dashboard. Cannot create or modify flows, access billing, or manage the team.

  • Viewer: Dashboard and analytics visibility only. No ability to make any changes. Best for stakeholders who only need to see performance data.

Changing a team member's role

To change a team member's role, go to Settings > Team, click the member's name, and select the new role from the dropdown. Only Owners and Admins can change roles.

Removing a team member

To remove someone from your workspace, go to Settings > Team, click their name, and select Remove member. This immediately revokes their access. Their previously recorded activity and any flows they created remain intact.
