How to create a free month offer

  1. Open your flow and go to the Offers step

  2. Click Add offer and select Free month

  3. Write the offer headline and description

  4. Set the targeting conditions to define which customers see this offer

When to use a free month offer

The free month offer is versatile and works well across multiple cancel reasons:

  • Customers who are undecided or on the fence about cancelling

  • Long-term subscribers you want to acknowledge with a loyalty reward

  • Customers who had a poor experience and deserve a goodwill gesture

A free month offer delays revenue by one cycle rather than permanently reducing it the way a recurring discount does. For customers you are confident will re-engage, it is often the more economical retention tool.
