How to Create Your Account

Your churn.io account is how you sign in to build cancellation flows, connect your billing platform, and track the revenue you save. Creating one takes a couple of minutes: you enter your details, confirm your email with a code, and then walk through a short setup that creates your first business and picks a plan. This article covers the whole sign-up journey from start to finish.

Before you start

You'll need a work email address you can access right away — we send you a verification code during sign-up. Have your business name and website handy too, since you'll be asked for them on the first setup screen.

💡 Were you invited to a team?

If a teammate sent you an invitation, open the link in that email first and follow it to the sign-up page. Your email will be filled in for you, and after you verify it you'll be taken straight to join their workspace instead of through the full setup.

Step 1: Enter your details

Go to the sign-up page and fill in the form:

  1. First name and Last name.

  2. Work email — use an address you can open right now.

  3. Password — at least 8 characters. A strength meter shows how strong your password is as you type.

When everything looks right, click Create account. We'll send a 6-digit verification code to the email you entered.

Step 2: Verify your email

Check your inbox for the code and enter it on the next screen, then click Verify. To make this quick, the page gives you Gmail, Outlook, and Apple shortcuts to jump straight to your mailbox.

A few helpful options on this screen:

  • If the code hasn't arrived, wait for the short countdown to finish and click Resend code.

  • If you mistyped your email, click Change email to go back and correct it.

⚠️ Can't find the code?

Check your spam or junk folder before resending. The code is tied to the exact email address you typed, so make sure it has no typos.

Step 3: Set up your account

Once your email is verified, you're signed in and guided through a short 4-step setup that creates your first business and chooses a plan.

  1. Business details — enter your Business name and Website, then click Continue.

  2. How did you find us? — pick the option that fits. If you choose Other, a box appears so you can tell us more.

  3. Choose your plan — use the slider to estimate the churn volume you manage and pick a paid plan, or choose the Free plan to start without a card. There's also a Custom option if your volume is very high, which lets you book a call with our team.

  4. Finish — on the Free plan, you'll see a quick confirmation screen and then land in your workspace. On a paid plan, you'll be asked to add your card before finishing.

💡 Not sure about your volume?

Pick your best estimate. After you connect your billing platform, churn.io verifies your actual churn volume and adjusts your plan automatically if needed.

When setup is complete, you're taken to the Get started checklist, which walks you through connecting your billing platform, designing your widget, building your first flow, and embedding it.

Signing in later

To return to your account, open the sign-in page and enter the email and password you used to sign up, then click Sign in.

⚠️ One active session at a time

Signing in on a new device or browser signs you out everywhere else. If you get signed out unexpectedly, it usually means your account was signed in somewhere new.

Forgot your password?

If you can't remember your password:

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?

  2. Enter your email address and click Send reset link.

  3. Open the email we send and click the link to set a new password.

If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or use try again on the confirmation screen to resend it.
