Your session tier determines how many sessions are included in your Pro plan each month. As your business grows or your cancellation volume changes, you may need to move to a higher or lower tier. This article explains how to change your tier and when each type of change takes effect.
How to change your session tier
Go to Settings > Billing
Click the Plan tab
Click Change tier
Select your new tier from the dropdown
Click Confirm change
When changes take effect
Tier upgrade: takes effect immediately. Your session allowance is increased right away and you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.
Tier downgrade: takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You keep your current higher allowance until then.
π‘ Auto tier sync
Churn.io periodically checks your actual usage and may recommend a tier adjustment if your usage has consistently been above or below your current tier. You will receive a notification and can accept or ignore the suggestion.
Checking your current usage before changing
Before upgrading or downgrading, check how many sessions you have used this month from Settings > Billing > Usage. This helps you choose the right tier without paying for more than you need or running out partway through the month.
